NFL University

The Miami Hurricanes football program is known as the breeding ground of the NFL, producing a record number of players who have gone on to gain immortality in the National Football League. The hurricanes currently hold the record for the most first round picks in a single, two-year, three-year and four-year period, producing 19 NFL players between 2001 and 2004. • During a 1954 game against Fordham, the Hurricanes post a 68 point margin of victory, scoring 75 points.
• The Hurricanes went 16 years without being shutout between 1979 and 1996.

The Hurricane Ring of Honor

The University of Miami football program established an exclusive Ring of Honor in 1997 as a way of immortalizing some of the schools most outstanding players and participants.
